Applied Pavement Technology
Applied Pavement Technology, Inc. is a national pavement engineering company that is locally based in Champaign. They are one of the top in their field and wanted their identity to reflect that level of sophistication. In creating my mark I referenced construction plans, using their visual language to inform my design. The mark is a visual representation of pavement from side view. The top horizontal lines represent the ground surface and the indentation in the middle represents the area that is filled with pavement.
